Katie Dunn

Katie Dunn, Director of Portfolio Development, joined our New York office to source and develop emission reduction project opportunities. Prior to joining Blue Source, Katie worked for Alliant Insurance Services as a political risk analyst focused on emerging markets where she spearheaded the creation of Alliant’s Carbon Credit Services Group that helps project developers, financial institutions, international organizations and offset aggregators mitigate project risk. Prior to Alliant, Katie served with the United Nations in New York City where she worked on environmental data collection methodologies, best practices and capacity building. Katie also worked with the World Bank on corporate social responsibility issues and outreach. Prior to that, she was a story editor and field producer with CBS and NBC, working on high-profile productions such as the Amazing Race, and was an adventure travel writer. Katie received a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, where she was also a Writing Fellow, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, San Diego.
