Bill Townsend

Bill Townsend has over 30 years of experience in the development of businesses in the energy and environmental sectors most recently as the CEO and co-founder of the Blue Source Companies. In particular, Bill brings extensive experience in sourcing and supply, manufacturing and operations, trading, marketing and distribution of carbon-based products. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of seven energy or environmental business lines with sales peaking at over $1 billion per year. He has also held positions as president of Petro Source Carbon Company and was co-founder of The Petro Source Companies. Bill has served on the Board of Directors of Clean Air Canada, Canada EMA, the Life@Work Companies, LifeSource and K2, The Church. Bill lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Andrea, and three grown children.
